My 12 year old has a few dance classmates that she wanted to give valentines to so we made these rock candy valentines from Family Fun. Instead of conversation hearts (which seem to be made in China now) we got small boxes of Jelly Belly jelly beans and instead of the peanut butter cups we used chocolate kisses. Also we taped the cord to the bottom because that's where the headphone jack on my iPod touch is.
cardstock is from Stampin Up and the labels are from the Family Fun website.

What a great idea! iLove it! :) BTW, thanks for the work you did!! I have been running all day but I will PM when the kids go to sleep! Muhahaha!!
How cute are those! I like your kisses better than the peanut butter cups...they look more like the ear buds! :) Nice job!
This is cute! I keep seeing people make these...they are great! I don't have an IPod, I just have a tiny MP3 player, but I bet I could make one of those with a 5 pack of stick gum...LOL!
This is such a cute idea! I will bet her friends LOVED them!!!
This is fabulous (you get the WHOLE word.lol.)I love the bright pink.
I know what you mean about the China thing, The peanut butter we used to buy is made there now instead of NZ.
That is just too cute! Fabulous idea!
what a cute project!
and I love your banner. I'm a big hk fan :)
These are sooo cute! All the kids have IPods and what a neat way to give as favors. I agree the kisses look better as ear buds. :)
Way cute and what a fun project to make!
I just saw your question at Moda Bake shop regarding the walnut shells. You can use plastic beans in the bottom of the owl as an alternative to walnut shells. You just need something to make the bottom of the owl sit well without tipping over. I think you can get the plastic beads at most craft stores.
That is such a cute little box! Love it! I wasn't sure if any one had responded to you over on the Moda Bake Shop, but I've made things similar to this owl (but... in snowman form), and we just used sand in the base. Good luck!
This is too cute! What a great valentines project!
